KSrelief signs an executive program to provide emergency food aid to people affected by floods in Sudan

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief ) signed yesterday an executive program to provide emergency food assistance to citizens affected by floods and to people in dire need, per the Integrated Food Security Phase Classification, also known as IPC scale, in Sudan for the year 2022. The program was signed by the Assistant Supervisor General of KSrelief for Operations and Programs, Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Baiz, at the center’s headquarters in Riyadh.

Through the project, 30,515 food baskets will be secured and distributed in the states of West, Central, and North Darfur, Sennar State, Al-Manaqil District, Jazirah state, and Berber City in River Nile State, benefiting 183,490 individuals.

This comes within the framework of humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom, represented by the Center, to alleviate the suffering of the Sudanese people from the torrential rains and floods and to support their food security.
