Legal Expert: The Appointment Of Ambassador Al-Suhail Is Consistent With The Openness Of The Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia In The Field Of Public International Law And New Diplomacy

The legal expert, Salem Hawass, confirmed that Safia Al-Suhail, Iraq’s appointed ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, submitting her credentials to the Kingdom’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a successful and appropriate appointment and choice, and it has great political dimensions that are in line with the openness of Saudi Arabia in light of the principles of public international law and the representation of women constitutionally, internationally and diplomatically.

Hawass added in a statement: “Iraq’s keenness to consolidate its relations with Saudi Arabia in various fields, in addition to its keenness to have representation at the level of an extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to represent Iraq to the Kingdom to make the necessary efforts to develop the relations of the two brotherly countries and open new horizons in their relations through an ambassador in a country like the Kingdom indicates its openness in diplomatic representation and international relations.”

Hawass stressed, “Al-Suhail, with the tools it possesses in the field of public international law, international relations, and vigorous diplomatic work, will achieve great success in her diplomatic missions in Riyadh.”

He called on the foreign ministries of the two countries to provide all support for the success of the mission of the Iraqi diplomatic mission, headed by Al-Suhail, and the need for the success of work and cooperation in service of the two neighboring countries and the Iraqi and Saudi communities within the scope of public and private international law.
