Britain and Ukraine signed a memorandum of understanding according to which Britain provides support at the level of experts in the reconstruction of Ukraine.
Ukrainian Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov said, according to the Ukrainian news agency “Ukrinform”: “British partners will provide their support in the process of rebuilding Ukraine.”
According to the MoU, Britain will rebuild the Kiev and Kharkiv regions and restore the transportation infrastructure, as Britain pledged to rebuild six bridges in the Kiev region, with funding from the British government.
The Ukrainian minister added: “There is a separate aspect of the negotiations on insurance against risks, as Britain has great experience in the field of insurance, and it is important for us to apply it in Ukraine now.”
