Baghdad – The Head of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, Masoud Barzani, congratulated the Christians on the occasion of the birthday of the Prophet Jesus (PBUH), calling for deepening the culture of coexistence and brotherhood among all the components of the Kurdistan region.
He stated in the congratulatory message: “On the occasion of the New Year and the birthday of the Prophet Isa al-Masih (peace be upon him), I extend my warmest congratulations to our Christian sisters and brothers in Kurdistan, Iraq and the whole world, and I wish them happiness and prosperity.
Barzani added: On this occasion, I call for concerted efforts to deepen the culture of coexistence and brotherhood among all the components of Kurdistan, with our wishes that all our Christian sisters and brothers spend their holiday in peace, unity and brotherhood that cast a shadow over all parts of the world.
