Minister of Islamic Affairs Honored for His Efforts to Spread Tolerance and Dialogue

The All-India Central Ahl al-Hadith Association awarded today a medal of the first class to the Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Al-Sheikh in recognition of his efforts in the service of Islam, spreading moderation, and promoting the spirit of cooperation between international institutions to promote tolerance and a culture of dialogue among followers of civilizations.

All-India Central Ahl al-Hadith Association in India President Sheikh Asghar Ali Imam Mahadi Al-Salafi handed over the medal today to the religious attaché of the Kingdom’s embassy in India, Badr bin Nasser Al-Bajidi, expressing the association’s appreciation for the Kingdom, which plays a pioneering role in serving Islam and Muslims across the world.

The All-India Central Ahl al-Hadith Association is one of the oldest and largest Islamic associations in the Indian subcontinent, established 117 years ago to become an incubator of more than 30 million people in various Indian states, and has distinguished historical relations with the Kingdom.
