Baghdad The MP of Sadiqoon bloc, Zainab Juma Al-Mousawi, confirmed: “The Gulf 25, which will be held in Basra, is an important sporting, political and economic event that will contribute to the rapprochement of peoples with Iraq. “
Al-Moussawi said in a press statement: “The Gulf 25 is of great importance in Iraq, and everyone is working from his position for the success of this event, which will be held in the most important Iraqi city, Basra.”
She added: “Every Iraqi who loves his country supports the holding of the Gulf Cup, which is long-awaited in our beloved Iraq, and this is a natural entitlement,” noting: “The Gulf countries have become reassured of Iraq’s security situation, which will reflect in the investment and infrastructure in the country.”
She stressed “the necessity of exploiting this sporting event to prepare a new generation of players that will enhance the chances of the Iraqi team in the upcoming international sports forums.”
