The MP, Muhammad Saadoun Al-Saihoud described the Development Road conference as a “quantitative leap” in the return of Iraq as a strong and influential economic front.

Al-Saihoud said in a press statement today that: Iraq represents the economic lung of the Middle East and the Arab, regional and international world, and therefore no matter how afflicted it is by crises, changes and events, but Iraq remains the icon of politics, economics, history and geography that cannot be ignored, and therefore this conference will witness a real turning point for advancement and economic, political, security and societal upgrading in Iraq and the region.

He added that: The conference is one of the most important achievements of the current government, which strives to put Iraq in its true place as a pioneer and an effective contributor to building and developing countries, since Iraq today is witnessing building bridges of cooperation and consolidating Arab, regional and international relations, especially through activating trade, scientific, technological and knowledge exchange and opening wide investment horizons as an important part of the Development Road Project, which will bring about an economic development internally and externally, expected to raise Iraq to a better level.
