Makkah– The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed the announcement to extend the truce in Yemen for two additional months.
Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) and Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammad bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, praised the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, stressing the Kingdom’s great pivotal role in consolidating security and stability in the region and the world, in line with the initiative of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced in March 2021 to end the crisis in Yemen and reach a comprehensive political solution.
Sheikh Dr. Al-Issa also valued the efforts of UN Special Envoy for Yemen Hans Grundberg in promoting adherence to the truce.
