Oman Hosts 52nd Meeting of Arab Communication Ministers’ Executive Office

The 52nd meeting of the Executive Office of Arab Communications Ministers Council was held today at Madinat Al Irfan, Muscat.

Hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology, the meeting was headed by the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The meeting discussed key recommendations from the 51st meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee for Communications and Information, as well as comments from the 43rd meeting of the Permanent Arab Committee for Posts and approved them in preparation for submitting to the Ministerial Committee of Arab Ministers for Communications and Information.

The meeting also looked into contributions of Arab countries to the Arabic translation section of the International Bureau of the Universal Postal Union, in addition to issues related to Palestine and the Arab strategy for cybersecurity, among other topics.
