PM’s Advisor: The real institutions are the arm of the government


Khutta Foundation for Nurturing Pioneers of Journalism, Art and Literature celebrated by honoring a new group of reciters of the Holy Qur’an, under the patronage of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa al-Sudani, and in the presence of a number of members of the House of Representatives, representatives of the Diwan of the Shiite and Sunni Endowments, and lovers of the Holy Qur’an.

During the honoring ceremony today, Saturday, in Baghdad, Arif Al-Saadi, cultural advisor to the Prime Minister, conveyed the greetings of Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani to the celebrants and attendees, and his wishes for success, expressing his thanks, in his name and in the name of the Prime Minister, to Khutta Foundation for proposing such activities.

Al-Saadi stressed, ‘The real institutions are the arm of the government, as all real cultural events are sponsored by the government, but the arm that does these activities are mature institutions,’ adding that ‘Khutta Foundation has proven its presence in the Iraqi cultural ar
ena by honoring and appreciating pioneers in various fields.’

He explained, ‘The Iraqi school of recitation and intonation of the Holy Qur’an is distinct and different from all Arabic recitation, and it reflects the identity of the Iraqi personality and distinguishes it from other identities.’

In turn, the honored pioneers expressed their gratitude to the Khutta Foundation and to the Prime Minister for their keenness to do justice to the reciters of the Holy Qur’an and to appreciate their service to the Book of God.
