Gitega– President Evariste Ndayishimiye of the Republic of Burundi, received here today, the Advisor at the Royal Court, Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, and the accompanying delegation.
During the reception, Qattan conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense and their best wishes for progress and prosperity to the government and people of the friendly Republic of Burundi.
In turn, President Ndayishimiye requested Qattan to convey his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the reception, they discussed relations between the two countries, and ways to support and develop them in various fields as well as all regional and international issues of common interest.
President Ndayishimiye expressed his country’s full support for the Kingdom’s bid to host the Expo 2030 in Riyadh. Qattan expressed the thanks and appreciation of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this support, which stems from the distinguished relations between the two countries.
