President Of The Supreme Judicial Council Arrives In Morocco

The President of the Supreme Judicial Council, Judge Faiq Zaidan, arrived today, Wednesday, in the Kingdom of Morocco, at the head of a high-level judicial delegation.

A statement to the media of the Judicial Council stated that the president of the council is visiting Morocco, based on an official invitation from his counterpart, the delegated president of the Supreme Council of the Judicial Authority in Morocco, Muhammad Abdu al-Nabawi.

According to the statement, the visiting delegation included the President of the Basra Appeal, Judge Adel Abdel-Razzaq, the President of the Nineveh Appeal, Judge Raed Hamid, the President of the Najaf Appeal, Judge Hassan Soudi, the Deputy Prosecutor General, Nawar Obaid, and the Director General of the Department of Judges and Prosecutors, Mrs. Lubna Moheb.

The delegation was received in the capital, Rabat, by the Secretary-General of the Moroccan Judiciary, a number of judges, and the ChargĂ© d’Affairs of the Iraqi Embassy in Morocco, Botan Daza’y.

The visit comes, according to the statement, within the framework of consolidating judicial relations in order to achieve the exchange of experiences between the two brotherly countries.
