Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud Chairs 39th Meeting of GCC Interior Ministers

Riyadh, The Ministers of Interior of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf (GCC) held their thirty-ninth meeting here today, under the chairmanship of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Interior, and with the participation Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior of the United Arab Emirates, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan; Minister of Interior of Bahrain, Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa; Minister of Interior of the Sultanate of Oman, Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal Al Busaidi; First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Interior of Kuwait, Sheikh Talal Khaled Al Ahmad Al Sabah; Undersecretary of the Ministry of Interior in Qatar, Sheikh Abdulaziz bin Faisal bin Mohammad Al Thani, and Secretary General of the Dr. Nayef Falah Mubarak Al-Hajraf.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud delivered a speech in which he conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and their wishes for the meeting success.

The assembled officials discussed the agenda and common security issues, in addition to the reports on the joint tactical exercise of the security services in the GCC countries (Arab Gulf Security 3), organized by the Ministry of Interior in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (2022), and the existing preparations for the upcoming exercise. (Arabian Gulf Security 4), which will be organized by the Ministry of Interior in Qatar (2023).
