Baghdad President of the Republic Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid and former Prime Minister, Head of the State of Law Coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, stressed the importance of supporting the government’s effort in carrying out the tasks entrusted to it.
A presidential statement said that the President of the Republic received, today, Wednesday, at al-Salam Palace in Baghdad, the head of the State of Law coalition, Nuri al-Maliki, who expressed his warmest congratulations and blessings on the occasion of his election as President of the Republic, wishing him success in his work, while the President expressed his thanks and appreciation to his good feelings.
During the meeting, according to the statement, they discussed the general situation in the country, where it was stressed the need to consolidate security and stability, consolidate the national ranks and work to overcome difficulties with care and responsibility, and to listen to the aspirations of citizens.
The importance of supporting the government’s effort in carrying out the tasks entrusted to it and implementing its program in providing the best services to citizens, improving living and service conditions, and supporting the necessary measures to achieve everything that would alleviate the burden of the citizen and start building at various levels and what Iraq and Iraqis deserve.
