Sako after the anniversary of the occupation of Iraq: everything disintegrated and we call for unity

The Chaldean Patriarch in Iraq and the world said that the ninth of April reminds us of the fall of Baghdad twenty years ago.

He said in a message to him, “Despite all the suffering, there are strong signs of hope for the future. The country, with its beautiful nature, ancient civilizations and riches, must rise. The Iraqis must be guided to a national will that unites them in setting a road map to reform matters and achieve a national political system that serves the country and the citizens.” Let’s pray for that.
