Saudi Arabia, UAE Co-sign MoU in Aviation Security Field

Riyadh, President of the General Authority for Civil Aviation (GACA) Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej and Director General of General Civil Aviation Authority of the UAE Saif Mohammed Al-Suwaidi, co-signed in Riyadh today a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in the field of aviation security between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.

The MoU aims to enhance bilateral cooperation between the two countries in the field of aviation security, which will contribute to the modernization of the administrative, organizational, operational, and technical fields of the industry.

The MoU included several areas, most notably is the exchange of experiences, developing and improving the civil aviation security infrastructure and applying best practices and applications used in the field of software systems, in addition to benefiting from qualified technical cadres of the two countries and other items that enhance bilateral cooperation between the two sides.
