The Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) delegation visited Hadramout as part of the program’s scheduled visits to inspect development projects and initiatives in the governorate.
During its visit, the delegation inspected the project to establish Seiyun Model School, with a completion rate of 70 percent.
The school will comprise nine classrooms, scientific facilities, and sports playgrounds. It will also support extracurricular activities and provide hundreds of educational opportunities for male and female students.
The Seiyun Model School project is part of 31 model schools in various Yemeni governorates and 52 development projects and initiatives in the education sector across Yemen.
Meanwhile, the SDRPY has implemented 229 development projects and initiatives in various Yemeni governorates to serve the Yemeni people in seven essential sectors, including education, health, water, energy, and transportation.
The SDRPY’s projects in Yemen also include agriculture and fisheries, capacity building of government institutions, and development programs.
