Riyadh, The Saudi U15 squash team snatched two gold medals in the Gulf Squash Championship, held in Kuwait from 23 to 31 October, 2021, dominating the individual and team categories in the tournament, in which five GCC teams participated, it was reported here today.
The Saudi Greens topped the individual and team competitions in the 15-year-old category, with player Mohammed Al-Nisfan winning first place, his colleague Yasser Al Abbas came 2nd and Salem Al-Mawlid ranked third.
In the team competitions, the Greens won the gold medal and came 1st, scoring the first-time-ever achievement for the Squash team, after defeating Oman 0-3.
