Baghdad The Secretary-General of Asa’ib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais Al-Khazali, appreciated the parliament’s vote to grant confidence to Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani and the new government formation.
Khazali said, in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /, “We congratulate the formation of this government, which we seek to be the beginning of a great good for all in this country.”
He explained, “We all hope and place our trust in Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, his government cabinet, members of the House of Representatives, as well as popular support, to work all within a responsible position to invest good things in the service of our people.”
He added, “We will make every effort for this government to succeed in achieving the highest rates of production and the lowest levels of corruption. We will also fight corruption with all our efforts to be responsible and honest before our people, and we pledge to them that we will all work together to serve the country.”
The House of Representatives, in its session held last Thursday evening, voted to grant confidence to Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, members of the new ministerial cabinet and the government program.
