Riyadh, Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, at the council’s headquarters in Riyadh today, received a delegation from the Turkish-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee at the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye, chaired by MP Khalil Ozcan.
At the beginning of the meeting, Al Al-Sheikh welcomed members of the delegation, delivering a briefing on the work mechanism of the council and its roles as per its regulations and specializations, stressing the importance of continuous communication between the Shura Council and Grand National Assembly and activating the roles of the two joint parliamentary committees.
The Turkish delegates stressed the importance of the pivotal roles of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia at the international level, reiterating the significance of enhancing bilateral relations in all fields, mainly at the parliamentary level.
Talks during the meeting went over several issues of joint interest in all fields, mainly those related to parliamentary ties between the Shura Council and Grand National Assembly.
