Speaker affirms depth of Bahraini-Moroccan relations

Manama, Speaker of the Representatives Council, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, has affirmed the depth of the solid relations between Bahrain and Morocco, in light of their shared keenness to strengthen joint cooperation across various fields, particularly the parliamentary and economic ones.

The speaker renewed the kingdom’s supportive stance towards Morocco’s sovereignty over its territories, as well as its efforts to ensure its security and stability, highlighting Bahrain’s keenness to open its Consulate General in the Moroccan city of Laayoune.

While receiving here today the Bahraini Ambassador to Morocco, Khalid bin Salman Al-Musallam, the Speaker affirmed that the distinguished relations and multiple partnerships between the two brotherly countries have been strengthened thanks to the wisdom of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Majesty King Mohammed VI of Morocco.

Speaker Al-Musallam also commended the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to broaden cooperation and enhance coordination between Bahrain and Morocco to achieve the interests of the two countries and their brotherly peoples.
