Speaker Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam received Shaikh Sultan bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain.
The speaker stressed the joint parliamentary keenness of the Council of Representatives and the Federal National Council of the UAE to continue developing relations.
Al Musallam affirmed the historical ties and the growing Bahraini-Emirati relations under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, United Arab Emirates President.
He praised the efforts of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to strengthen cooperation in various fields.
The ambassador praised the levels of cooperation and the remarkable progress of both countries.
He expressed his appreciation to the Speaker for the parliamentary efforts in supporting the development of bilateral relations, wishing the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.
