Speaker of the Council of Representatives, Ahmed bin Salman Al-Musallam, has affirmed the keenness of the kingdom, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, to strengthen its relations and cooperation with France at all level for the benefit of the two countries and their peoples.
He also highlighted the interest of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in bolstering cooperation and coordination with France.
Speaker Al-Musallam made the statements while meeting here today outgoing French Ambassador to Bahrain, Jérôme Cauchard.
He commended the efforts exerted by the envoy to strengthen the Bahraini-French throughout his tenure, wishing him every success in his future assignments.
The outgoing French Ambassador expressed thanks and appreciation to the Speaker for the support accorded to him during his tenure, affirming his country’s keenness to enhance relations with the kingdom in various fields, especially regarding parliamentary cooperation.
