The arrest of a woman who stole her husband with the help of a “tik-tok” driver in Al-Amarah

Amarah The security forces in Maysan arrested a woman who stole an amount of (25 million dinars) from her husband with the help of a “tik-tok” driver in the city of Al-Amarah, the center of the governorate.

The Maysan Police Directorate said in a statement that the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / received a copy of it: “After a complaint was submitted by a citizen about being robbed, a work team was formed and one of the accused was arrested, who openly admitted that he had stolen the amount from the complainant’s house and in cooperation with the complainant’s wife.”

It added, “The accused, during his confession, stated that he knew the complainant’s wife as a tik- tok driver, and she used to rent him from time to time, and then she proposed to him the idea of stealing her husband when the house was empty to carry out the robbery.”

It added that, based on the statements of the accused, an arrest warrant was issued against the complainant’s wife, and she was arrested, and through interrogation with her, she supported what was stated in the details of the theft, noting that the statements were legally validated and the evidence was revealed, and it came in accordance with their statements.
