Al-Amarah The security forces in Maysan arrested two suspects who were in their possession unlicensed weapons in Al-Khums checkpoint, southwest of the city of Al-Amarah.
Maysan Police Command said in a statement, a copy of which the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received: “The two suspects were arrested through security measures at the main checkpoints in the governorate, where they were seized with two M16 weapons and other equipment, noting that the necessary legal measures were taken against the accused and referring them to the competent authorities.”
