The Central Bank of Iraq announced, today, Thursday, the launch of the Banking Supervision Reports System.
The CBI stated in a statement, that “it was decided to launch the Banking Supervision Reports System (BSRS),” indicating that “the new system will collect and unify the database of codes of banks, non-bank financial institutions, companies and their branches, in a way that enables the regulatory authorities to monitor the financial safety of these banks, institutions and companies more quickly and more accurate, and enabling the bank to rectify potential risks within financial institutions.”/ End
