The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Eid Al-Fitr 1445 AH Address Delivered

Jeddah: Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud delivered an address on the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr 1445 AH. The address, conveyed by Minister of Media Salman bin Yousef Al-Dossary, reads as follows:

‘In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May Allah’s peace and blessings be upon His trustworthy Prophet Mohammad, and upon all his family and companions.

My sons and daughters, my brothers and sisters, citizens and residents of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Muslims everywhere, May the peace, blessings, and mercy of Allah be upon you.

We extend our congratulations on the blessed Eid Al-Fitr occasion. We express our deepest gratitude to Allah for the opportunity to observe fasting and prayer, and we implore Almighty to accept these devotions from us. May Allah grant us the continued privilege of witnessing this blessed month, filled with goodness and joy, in the years to come.

We thank Allah Almighty for the opportunity to observe Eid Al-Fitr through which affe
ction, compassion, love, and forgiveness prevail. By the grace of Allah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been entrusted with numerous blessings. These include the unity of its people, the solidarity of its ranks, and the profound honor of serving the two holy mosques, Hajj pilgrims, Umrah performers, and all visitors. We steadfastly adhere to this path established by the founder, King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman, and his successors, the kings of this blessed land.

We express our profound gratitude to Allah Almighty for enabling millions of worshippers to perform their Umrah rituals with ease and tranquility during the holy month of Ramadan. This accomplishment reflects the tireless efforts undertaken by various state sectors dedicated to serving the guests of Allah and facilitating the performance of worship and ensuring the smooth execution of rituals. May Allah accept their good deeds.

As we welcome Eid Al-Fitr this year, we reiterate the need to stop attacks on the Palestinian people, provide safe humanita
rian and relief corridors, and to end their suffering by enabling them to obtain all their legitimate rights, including establishing their independent state and living in safety. May Allah continue to bestow security, safety, and prosperity upon our country. Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.’
