Baghdad Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, was keen to send a message to the winner and participants in the finals of the 22nd edition of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, which concluded today, Sunday, in Qatar.
Sheikh Tamim wrote a “tweet” through his Twitter account, in which he said: “I congratulate the Argentine national team for winning the Qatar World Cup 2022, and the French national team for the second place, and I thank all the teams for their wonderful play, and the fans who enthusiastically encouraged them.
He continued: With the conclusion, we have fulfilled our promise to organize an exceptional championship from the Arab land, which provided an opportunity for the peoples of the world to learn about the richness of our culture and the originality of our values.
The curtain fell on the Qatar World Cup 2022, with the Argentine national team crowned the 2022 World Cup champion, at the expense of its French counterpart, by penalty kicks (4-2), after they tied in the final match of the tournament ( 3-3), at Lusail Stadium.
