Baghdad, The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fo uad Hussein, discussed the ongoing preparations for the visit of Prime Minister Muhammad Shia’ al-Sudani to Paris at the end of this month, to discuss regional and international challenges, achieve common interests, and stress Iraq’s vital role in establishing the foundations of security and stability in the region.
The Ministry stated in a statement: “The Minister met with the French Ambassador in Baghdad, Eric Chevalier, and during the meeting they also discussed issues of common interest between Baghdad and Paris, in a way that contributes to strengthening bilateral relations between the two friendly countries.”
The meeting also dealt with coordination and cooperation to achieve high-level mutual visits between officials of both countries within the framework of joint bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries.
