The head of the Turkmen Parliamentary Bloc, MP Arshad Al-Salhi, received in his office in the capital, Baghdad, the Japanese ambassador to Iraq, Futoshi Matsumoto.
The two sides reviewed developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region, and Iraq’s relations with Japan and ways to strengthen them.
The two sides discussed developments in the situation in Kirkuk Governorate, and the importance of supporting calm efforts, preventing escalation, protecting social peace, and adopting the language of dialogue between the components of the governorate to resolve outstanding issues away from the use of violence.
