The Hebron Zakat Committee provides 400 thousand dinars to needy families and a thousand breakfast meals daily


Hebron – Together – Chairman of the Hebron Central Zakat Committee, Sheikh Nabil Salah, said that the committee, since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, has provided cash assistance from the committee’s fund amounting to about 400 thousand Jordanian dinars, to beneficiary families and beneficiaries of the committee’s various programs.

Salah explained that the Zakat Committee provides a thousand hot breakfast meals daily to families registered with the committee, and many volunteers deliver these meals to the families’ homes before breakfast. These meals were donated by benefactors and benefactors from the local community and from institutions outside Palestine. May God reward them all on our behalf. Good, in addition to organizing a group iftar for orphans with their families. The committee will also organize another group iftar, in addition to providing appropriate clothing for those in need.

The head of the Hebron Central Zakat Committee spoke about the increase in families in need in the Hebron
Governorate, due to the prevention of workers from going to work inside the country for 6 months, in addition to the inability of many workers to go to their workplaces due to the occupation’s measures, as well as young employees working in public employment.

Salah said: ‘These circumstances cast a heavy shadow on the Hebron Central Zakat Committee, due to the large number of needy people and their various segments, and despite the scarcity of cash in people’s hands, we, thank God, see a race from the wealthy and the able to pay the zakat of their money to the Central Hebron Zakat Committee.’ Which in turn delivers the zakat money to those who deserve it.’

Salah pointed out that the committee made it easier for beneficiaries of monthly cash payments, by opening bank accounts in their names in various banks, and this is to save face, in addition to transparency in the work of the committee.
