The judiciary issued a life imprisonment sentence against a drug dealer who was arrested by the Popular Mobilization Forces earlier in the capital, Baghdad.
A statement by the Popular Mobilization Authority stated that a force from the General Directorate of Security and Discipline in the Popular Mobilization Authority arrested a drug dealer in the capital, Baghdad, after obtaining the approval of the competent judge, and seized two kilograms of narcotic substances in his possession that he intended to distribute and sell in Baghdad. The Investigation Authority managed with effort to arrest him with narcotics, to be referred to the Iraqi judiciary, which imposed a life sentence against him.
