The KRG outlines the most important items to be negotiated in Baghdad

Baghdad The Kurdistan Regional Government announced the formation of a ministerial delegation to negotiate with the central government in Baghdad.

The regional government stated in a statement, that it met today and decided to form a ministerial delegation consisting of the ministers of finance, planning and natural resources, to negotiate with Baghdad.

It explained: “The most important paragraphs of negotiation with the federal government will be the dialogue on constitutional rights, the ministerial program for the current government that the Iraqi parliament voted on, Article 140, the region’s share of the budget, the oil and gas file, the region’s participation in federal institutions, and the file and rights of the Peshmerga as well as draft laws (the Federal Court, the Federal Council, oil and gas).
