Baghdad, The Minister of Agriculture, Abbas Jabr Al-Alawi, discussed today, Monday, with the World Bank delegation headed by the Regional Director for the Middle East to Iraq, Jean-Christophe Carré, and Richard Abdel Nour, the Special Representative of the World Bank mission, development priorities and follow-up to the progress of projects funded by the World Bank in order to enhance joint action and enhance Providing services to citizens.
They discussed, according to a statement by the Ministry, the rehabilitation and reconstruction of sites belonging to the Ministry of Agriculture in the governorates of (Nineveh, Anbar, Salah Al-Din, Diyala and Kirkuk) that were damaged by terrorist acts.
It is noteworthy that the amount of the loan provided by the World Bank to the agricultural component in Iraq amounts to 32 million dollars.
