The Minister of Health, Dr. Salih Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, received the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Muhammad Kazem Al-Sadeq, accompanied by the Head of the Iranian Red Crescent and the organization’s delegation, yesterday evening, Thursday, at the Ministry’s headquarters.
A statement by the Ministry stated that during the meeting, they discussed enhancing ways of joint cooperation in the field of providing medicines and medical supplies, exchanging visits between medical teams, holding joint medical conferences, treating patients, training medical and health personnel, and providing medical and therapeutic services to Iranian visitors on the occasion of the Arbaeen visit.
They also discussed bilateral cooperation between the Iraqi Ministry of Health and the Iranian Red Crescent Society in the field of health and mass medicine, developing the work of health institutions and laying the foundations for constructive cooperation in providing relief, health and treatment services in exceptional circumstances.
