Baghdad The Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, discussed with a number of MPs strengthening cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Interior and the House of Representatives.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement: “Al-Shammari met with a number of MPs, who offered congratulations and blessings to the minister on the occasion of assuming the duties of his position, stressing their keenness to provide all aspects of support to the minister in managing this prestigious ministry and permanent communication with the ministry and the minister through the legislative work portal.”
It added that, during the meeting, they discussed enhancing cooperation and coordination between the Ministry of Interior and the House of Representatives.
Al-Shammari praised, according to the statement, the work of the House of Representatives and its constant endeavor to pass laws that are in the interest of the Iraqi people, calling for standing with it in building and reforming the directorates and departments of the ministry .
