The Minister of Planning is discussing with the Iranian Ambassador ways to expand bilateral cooperation

Baghdad The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Muhammad Tamim, met today with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Muhammad Kadhem Al Sadiq.

The two sides reviewed ways to expand cooperation in many areas, such as the supply of Iranian gas and electricity to Iraq, the development of bilateral cooperation in the areas of standards, the establishment of joint control companies, the information network, electronic government, and the follow-up of debts of Iranian banks owed by the Iraqi side and the mechanisms for their payment.
