Baghdad Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibes Al-Saadawi, met, at the ministry’s headquarters, today, Monday, with the French ambassador to Iraq, Eric Chevalier, and discussed with him cooperation and joint coordination between Iraq and France in the field of transport.
A statement by the ministry stated that: “The European ban file was discussed, new horizons were opened in the transport lines between the two countries, and the necessary and possible measures were taken to lift the ban on Iraqi airlines, and to benefit from the expertise and invest it in the field of transport.”
For his part, the French ambassador expressed his country’s readiness to provide support and advice to the Iraqi side, and to train Iraqi cadres according to the latest and finest methods and specialized arts in the field of aviation and to build bridges of development in work.
