The Iraqi Football Association announced, today, Wednesday, that the opening ceremony of “Gulf 25” won two gold medals in the Eventex Awards.
The President of the Iraqi Football Association, Adnan Darjal, said in a statement, “We are very proud of this achievement, which also celebrates a historic moment for Iraq,” congratulating “Iraq, the Iraqis and the audience, who was one of the most important milestones of the tournament’s success, and with his encouragement set a record in his attendance at the Palm and Al-Mina Olympic stadiums.
He explained that “the role of the brothers in the Gulf countries was very distinguished in its support and insistence on coming to Iraq, and supporting the establishment of the Gulf Cup in Iraq.”
Darjal continued, “The opening ceremony was remarkable for our history and culture, and gave us a deep sense of national pride, and confirmed our commitment to providing an exceptional experience for football fans.”
The distinguished opening ceremony of Khaleeji (25) reflected the historic return of the championship to Iraq after 44 years, with a legendary show that reflects the rich Iraqi culture and civilization.
In the opening ceremony, multimedia was used to narrate the content in a distinct way, in which the audience lived a captivating journey in which traditions and modern technology were combined with ancient tales and stories./ End
