The PMF waives the case against Haider al-Zaidi

Baghdad The head of the Popular Mobilization Commission, Faleh Al-Fayyad, decided, after receiving the family of the deceived “Haider Al-Zaidi”, to waive the lawsuit against him.

Al-Fayyad said to his family: If the martyr leader was present, he would also give up the issue, and that the aim of the case is to prevent the continuous transgressions by some of those motivated towards the martyrs and sanctities.

Earlier, the civil activist Haider al-Zaidi was sentenced to three years in prison because of the insult he directed against the martyr leader Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis, deputy head of the Popular Mobilization Commission.
