Baghdad The Popular Mobilization Commission announced that 42 mortar shells had been found in the Nineveh Plain.
In a statement, the commission said that a force from the 30th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization found, today, Tuesday, 42 mortar shells near the village of Samaqiya in the Nineveh Plains.
It added, that one of the citizens in the Nineveh Plain reported the presence of the shells, as the 30th Brigade carried out a duty of inspection and was able to find 42 mortar shells for ISIS elements that they buried underground near the village of Al- Samaqiya during their control of the city, indicating that the projectiles were removed safely and handed over to the specialized engineering unit. .
