The President of the Republic, Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, congratulated the Press Family on the occasion of the Iraqi Press Day.
Rashid said in a statement: “We congratulate the Press Family on the anniversary of the Iraqi Press Day, and we remember with pride the sacrificed journalists in defense of the people’s rights.”
He added: “We support the role of free and independent media in a way that enhances the people’s right to democracy, freedoms, and peace.”
