Three Earthquakes Hit Southern Turkey

Three earthquakes struck the cities of Malatya, Hatay, and Adiyamen, in southern Turkey, at dawn today. The Turkish Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said in a statement that an earthquake measuring 3.9 degrees struck Petaligazi area in the city of Malatya at 05:27 am and was at a depth of 11.51 km. It added that a second earthquake struck Sensik area in the city of Adiyamen with a magnitude of 3.9 at 5:37 am and was at a depth of 7.03 km, while a third earthquake struck Hasafi area in the city of Hatay with a magnitude of 3.7 at 08:16 am and was at a depth of 10.63 km. No damage was recorded in those three earthquakes.
