Tunis, Tunisian President Kais Saied received here yesterday the Libyan Foreign Minister Najla Mangoush, currently on a visit to Tunisia.
During the meeting, the Tunisian president affirmed his country’s firm position on the situation in Libya, which is based on supporting a peaceful inter-Libyan solution away from foreign interference.
He also expressed his country’s constant readiness to stand by Libya to support their efforts to reach a political settlement that would enable the Libyan people to devote themselves to development and reconstruction efforts.
For her part, the Libyan Foreign Minister briefed President Saied on the latest developments in her country, and the efforts made to establish a true inclusive dialogue that would pave the way for upcoming political steps.
