Two Planes, Evacuating Iraqis From Sudan, Heading To Baghdad With 234 People On Board

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, announced that the two planes designated to evacuate Iraqis from Sudan headed to Baghdad, with 234 people on board.

Al-Sahhaf said in a statement: “The two planes designated to evacuate the Iraqis from Port Sudan left for Baghdad with (234) citizens on board, including 16 Syrians.”

He added, “The Emergency Diplomatic Response Operations Room is intensifying its efforts to the post-arrival stage in Baghdad, to provide medical aid and complete the procedures for the evacuees from the Arab communities.”/ End
