Under the guidance of PM, the Supreme Anti-Corruption commission formed

Baghdad Under the direct guidance of Prime Minister Muhammad Al-Sudani, the Integrity Commission formed, today, Wednesday, an exceptional entity entitled “The Supreme Anti-Corruption Commission”, in order to speed up confronting major corruption files and recover those wanted in corruption cases and the abused public funds.

Al-Sudani directed that the work of the committee be in accordance with the ministerial program and with non-traditional mechanisms.

Al-Sudani also directed according to the statement, to form a support team with wide powers, in order to provide full support to the Supreme Anti-Corruption Commission in opening these files, and the team is headed by the Director General of the Ministry of Interior, Abdel Karim Abd Fadel.

The Prime Minister directed that the team’s work procedures should be through providing all guarantees required by the constitution and laws, especially with regard to human rights.”
