Visitors to Taif Rose Festival Amazed by its Birds Parks


Taif, The Talking Birds and Rare Falcons Park at the Taif Rose Festival (Qitaf 19) attracted tourists and visitors from all segments of society for its beauty, diversity, and rarity. The park’s design, situated within the festival grounds in a manner that mimics the original environment of various birds, facilitated easy navigation for visitors and enabled them to take memorable photos with the birds and even hold them, particularly the world’s oldest falcons.

The event organizer and bird owner, Ali Al-Harthi, stated that his participation in this park aimed to enrich the tourism and cultural movement of the festival, given its significance to the people of Taif Governorate, its visitors, and residents. He noted that the park featured a collection of rare birds licensed by the National Center of Wildlife (NCW), encompassing various species and sizes, with guides providing information about each bird. Among the birds on display, parrots were the most famous, representing a variety of species.

Regarding his a
ffinity for birdkeeping, Al-Harthi recounted that his fondness for animals, particularly birds, developed during his childhood and intensified as he grew older and pursued a career as a biology teacher.
