Washington _We do not expect any progress in the nuclear deal with Iran

Baghdad Spokesman for the US National Security Council, John Kirby, announced that the United States does not expect any progress on the path of returning to the nuclear agreement with Iran in the foreseeable future.

“The Joint Comprehensive Business Plan is not at the forefront of our concerns right now. It is not on our agenda,” Kirby told reporters on Tuesday.

He added, “There is no progress on the deal with Iran. We do not expect any progress in the foreseeable future, nor do we focus attention on that.”

It is noteworthy that the negotiations in Vienna on returning to the agreement on the Iranian nuclear program, which was signed between Iran and the international six-party system in 2015, and from which the administration of former US President Donald Trump withdrew in 2018, stalled several months ago following the exchange of proposals between the parties last August.
