Riyadh, Speaker of the Shura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh participated today in the works of the 16th meeting of the Heads of Shura, Representatives, National Assembly, and Parliament Councils in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states which is hosted by Muscat, the Sultanate of Oman, and headed by the Chairman of the Shura Council of the Sultanate of Oman, Sheikh Khalid bin Hilal Al-Mawali.
The Heads of Shura, Representatives, National Assembly, and Parliament Councils in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states sent two cables of congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister on the occasion of the 92nd National Day of the Kingdom Saudi Arabia.
They also expressed their thanks to Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of the Sultanate of Oman, for his support and patronage, and the efforts of the Sultanate of Oman in developing the foundations of the joint GCC work and seeking to enhance prospects for cooperation and joint coordination among the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states.
During the meeting, they reviewed several issues on the meeting’s agenda and made a number of decisions regarding them.
