‫شبكة تلفزيون الصين الدولية (CGTN): الصين تضفي حيوية على حماية التنوع البيولوجي العالمي

 وأشار أيضًا إلى صندوق كونمينغ للتنوع البيولوجي في خطابه لإظهار أن الصين ستبذل قصارى جهدها لمساعدة البلدان النامية في حماية التنوع البيولوجي.

وفي مؤتمر قمة قادة مؤتمر الأطراف الخامس عشر المعقود في كونمينغ، بمقاطعة يونان في جنوب غرب الصين، في أكتوبر من العام الماضي، أعلن شي مبادرة الصين لإنشاء صندوق كونمينغ للتنوع البيولوجي وأخذ زمام المبادرة باستثمار 1.5 مليار يوان (حوالي 215 مليون دولار) لدعم حماية التنوع البيولوجي في البلدان النامية.

 وعلى مر السنين، دعمت الصين الجهود الدولية لحماية التنوع البيولوجي. وكانت من أوائل الدول التي وقعت وصدقت على اتفاقية التنوع البيولوجي وأصبحت أكبر مساهم في الميزانية الأساسية لاتفاقية التنوع البيولوجي وبروتوكولاتها منذ عام 2019.

Economist: Central Bank reserves cover 20 import months

Baghdad The financial expert, Madhar Muhammad Salih, confirmed that: The Central Bank’s hard currency reserves cover 20 import months.

He told the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that the net foreign currency reserves of the Central Bank of Iraq, along with the government’s reserves, amounted to more than 90 billion dollars, which is the highest in Iraq’s financial history.

Salih added that these reserves cover the value of the national currency exported to circulation by about one and a half times, and also cover about 20 import months, while the international standard does not exceed 3-6 months as a maximum.

Iraq and India discuss the development of bilateral relations and joint cooperation

Baghdad, Head of the Asia and Australia Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Dr. Hisham Al-Alawi, received Prashant Bisai, the Indian ambassador to Iraq, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Al-Alawi indicated during the meeting, according to a statement by the Ministry, that the Ministry is interested in following up bilateral files between Iraq and India, and supporting the work of the Indian Embassy in Iraq and cooperating with it to develop bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing the Iraqi government’s endeavor to expand its partnerships with the countries of the Asian continent.

The Ministerial Council for Social Services holds its first session and discusses 3 important files

Baghdad The Ministerial Council for Social Services held its first session, headed by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, Muhammad Ali Tamim.

At the outset of the session, Tamim stressed, according to the statement of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, the importance and the great role played by the Ministerial Council in the services sector, by evaluating, correcting and proposing solutions for lagging projects that are presented to him or proposed by the Council to serve citizens and the country’s infrastructure.

The Council discussed three files on its agenda, namely: reviewing projects that are lagging behind in the governorates and Ministries, addressing the obstacles they face, submitting proposals in this regard to the Council of Ministers or the Ministerial Council for the Economy, reviewing and supporting emergency security projects for the purpose of directing them towards the government’s priorities, as well as discussing the issue of the strategic project for Basra schools.

The members of the Council agreed on a number of recommendations regarding agenda files, in a way that secures and facilitates implementation mechanisms in order to provide services with technical, administrative and legal paths in order to achieve the public benefit of citizens.

It is noteworthy that the Ministerial Council for Social Services was formed under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning as Chairman, and the membership of the Ministers of Construction, Housing, Works and Public Municipalities, Health, Justice, Transport, Migration and Displacement, and Environment, and the Chairman of the Council of Advisors as a member and secretary of the Council.

Deputy Speaker of Parliament condemns the terrorist operation targeted the Federal Police in Kirkuk

Saudi Arabia condemns the terrorist attack that targeted the Iraqi security forces in Kirkuk

Baghdad The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemned in the strongest terms the terrorist attack that targeted the Iraqi security forces in Kirkuk.

According to the Saudi SPA Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom’s condemnation and denunciation in the strongest terms of the treacherous terrorist attack that targeted the Iraqi security forces in the north of the Republic of Iraq, which led to the death and injury of a number of members of the security forces.

A large funeral for the federal martyrs in Kirkuk

Kirkuk The Governor of Kirkuk, Rakan Saeed Al-Jubouri, Head of the Supreme Security Committee, attended the funeral procession for a number of the Federal Police who were martyred within the borders of Riyadh district.

The funeral took place from Kirkuk Airport and was attended by Major General Jabbar Naima Al-Taie, Commander of the Joint Operations Headquarters in Kirkuk, and Major General Fakher Dair Al-Bahadli, Commander of the 3rd Division of the Federal Police.

The Governor of Kirkuk expressed his condolences to the families of the martyrs and the security leaders, calling for an emergency meeting of the Ministerial Council for National Security.

He called for the reinforcement, support and deployment of military units within the administrative borders of Kirkuk, and for sending military reinforcements to them.
